Valerie Franzen proudly joined ConferenceDirect in October 2019 with over 17 years of experience in meeting management including site selection, contract negotiations and conference management. Her extensive background includes government and association work as well as experience in corporate and collegiate events. Valerie’s portfolio includes conferences for the National Institutes of Health, the American Association for Cancer Research, the Consumer Technology Association (formerly CEA), Women in Cable and Telecommunications, and the US Department of Health and Human Services.

Valerie has expertise in building relationships, leadership, and exceeding stakeholder goals. In response to the shift to virtual and hybrid events, Valerie earned the Digital Event Strategist (DES) certification adding to her business administration degree and Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation.
